Need help walking through 2 new problems today and still stuck trying to reconcile an answer from yesterday...
1. what is the percent concentration of when 24 g of NaOH is disolved in 2L of solution? Answer is supposed to be 1.2% but I keep getting 12%
2. How many grams of NaCl are needed to prepare 250 mL of 1% solution? answer is supposed to be 2.5 grams but I get .25?
3. From yesterday-- When lead II nitrate it treated with potassium chromate solution, a bright yellow precipate of lead II chromate is formed. How many grams of lead chromate form when a 1.00 g sample of lead II nitrate is added to 25.0 mL of 1.00 M potassium chromate solution? Write the net ionic equation first, then do calculations, which reactant is limiting? Prof says the answer should be 1.25 g PbCrO4?????
