Your Question
in a class of 147 students, 95 are taking math (M), 73 are taking science (S), and 52 are taking both. one student is picked at random. find p(taking math science or both) an P(not taking math).....this is all the book give me. I would think that the first would be 100 percent but im not sure. i would like to know how to work this, i feel like im making it more complicated than it actually is.
