In other words what are your plans for your future education? College? Vocational school? The world of work? What have you done so far to prepare for your goals?” I have high standards for my future. To achieve my goals for my future I must work hard. To start off my future to become a Pediatric Surgeon, I am in the Medical Magnet Program at Stranahan High School. I am taking classes that will help me in the future to pursue the big dreams that I do have. After graduating as class of 2010 from Stranahan High School, I plan on going to college to do my undergrad studies. In undergrad school I will get a degree in Biology and be in the Pre-Med Program. To achieve getting my degree I must stay focus at all times. I must prioritize my time; separating fun from studying time. When I do get my degree from undergraduate school, I plan on continuing my education a little further by going to graduate school. In graduate school I will go on to study Medicine. In the Medicine department I would take classes that would help me become a Pediatric Surgeon. After getting my degrees from both undergrad and graduate school I will do 4 years of interning at a local hospital. After 4years of interning, I would do another 4 years, but in surgical residency. As you can see I have a lot of studying ahead of me. When I become a surgeon for Pediatrics I will work a lot of hours at the hospital. I love children so it won’t be hard to communicate with them. With being a surgeon, I would have to dedicate all my hard work to the operation room. Even though it takes a lot of work and commitment to become a surgeon, I know the salary will establish a good foundation for my future family. To reach my future goals after high school I must work hard and stay focus. To get the career I’m dreaming about I must also keep a positive attitude at all times.
